MULTICULTURAL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
For more than a century, The Salvation Army have been at the forefront of Australia’s charitable organisations dedicated to supporting communities and helping those in need. As Australia’s landscape and population have undergone a considerable amount of change, the support of The Salvation Army has remained constant.
Since The Salvation Army established their presence in Australia, decades of migration have drastically changed the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Australian population. To ensure that The Salvation Army can continually meet the needs of all Australians, we are excited to be introducing a new Salvos Multicultural Ambassador Program that will focus on maximising awareness and access to our social support offerings to Australians of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. Through the appointment of our Salvos Multicultural Ambassadors, we aspire to make a clearer pathway for dialogue between the Salvos and Australia's vibrant and multicultural society to ensure that all Australians can access the support of The Salvos.
